Dr. List Benjamin, a Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry 2021, has joined the Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery (WPI-ICReDD) as one of the Principal Investigators since its establishment at Hokkaido University in 2018. He was appointed as a Specially Appointed Professor at Hokkaido University in 2020 and was bestowed the special title of “Hokkaido University Professor” in 2022. The title “Hokkaido University Professor” is given to researchers who have made outstanding educational and research achievements worldwide and are recognized as making long-term contributions to the advancement of education and research at Hokkaido University.
