ICReDD will be hosting the 12th WPI Science Symposium for middle/high school students and the general public. In the morning session, researchers from World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) institutes across Japan gather to introduce the latest cutting edge informatics-related research in a friendly format. In the afternoon session, science outreach specialists from each institute will introduce world-class research from their institute in from a perspective even closer to the general public. Researchers and outreach specialists will also discuss their path to their current profession, providing valuable advice for students thinking about science as a career. Interactive panel discussions and promotional booths from each institute give attendees a chance to interact directly with and ask questions to scientists and outreach specialists.
