ICReDD PI Masumi Tsuda, Associate Professor at ICReDD/Faculty of Medicine, won the “Yoshie Katsurada Award”. The award ceremony was held on Dec. 8th on campus, where President of the Hokkaido University, Prof. Kiyohiro Houkin presented each award winner with a certificate of commendation and a monetary prize.
The Yoshie Katsuda Award was established in March 2023 to recognize Hokkaido University’s female faculty members who have conducted outstanding academic research and are expected to play active roles as future managers and administrators. Its purpose is to encourage these female faculty members themselves and many others who follow in their footsteps, thereby promoting the advancement of women into senior and managerial positions.
