About the Research

Research Theme

Supramolecular architectures with “rope-like” flexible aliphatic polycarbonyl materials via organic syntheses. Chemical functionalization of oligoketone based molecules for biological and material applications. "Bottom-up" chemical syntheses of atomically precise carbon-nanostructures (graphene nanoribbons, carbon nanohoops and nanobelts). In-depth structural investigation of complex molecules through chemical, crystallographic and computational analysis.
