About the Research

Research Theme

Characterization of cancer stem cells for effective drug development

Keyword

Cancer stem cells, Raman microscopy, Image processing

Research Outline

Cancer stem cells are a subpopulation of cancer cells that play a crucial role in cancer development and progression, making their study important for understanding cancer biology. Raman microscopy and cell morphology analysis are powerful techniques that can enable us to study cancer stem cells at the molecular and cellular level. Despite their potential, the study of cancer stem cells using Raman microscopy and cell morphology analysis is still in its early stages.
My research is focused on identifying and characterizing cancer stem cells based on their distinct molecular and morphological features, enabling the development of more targeted cancer therapies.
