研究概要
Slide-Ring Gel Network: Conducted theoretical and computational investigations into the nonlinear elasticity of Slide-Ring Gel across various elongation regimes, with a particular focus on behavior near the fracture strain. Compared and validated the findings against experimental data.
Topological Polymers: Using established solution models combined with high-throughput computational simulations to investigate the properties of polymer chains with complex topological architectures—such as rings, polycatenanes, and knots—under varying solvent conditions. This work aims to advance the theoretical perspective of topological entanglements as well as the understanding of folding mechanisms in biopolymers like proteins or chromatin.
Polymer Solution: quantitative analysis of polymer solutions in poor solvents, examining how the third virial coefficient affects chain dimensions.
