The 16th issue of “The CATALYST” quarterly news poster has been released!
In this issue the theme is “environmentally friendly reaction development – Force is the key?”
Among chemical reactions, this issue introduces “radical reactions” which occur repeatedly like falling dominos. This issue also talks about “Mechanochemistry”, one of the methods which uses little solvent to cause a reaction. ICReDD has developed unique technologies by combining radical reactions and mechanochemistry, including using common plastic materials as the initiator.
This issue also features information about the latest ICReDD publications and a researcher profile on Specially Appointed Associate Professor Hailong Fan, who studies the design and synthesis of functional hydrogels.
