Associate Professor Koji Kubota receives the Chemist Award BCA in 2024

On Tuesday October 8th, The MSD Life Science Foundation, Public Interest Incorporated Foundation announced the recipients of its annual award, the Chemist Award BCA 2024.

Associate Professor Koji Kubota (ICReDD/Faculty of Engineering) was awarded for his research on “Pioneering and developing solid-state organic synthetic chemistry by using Mechanochemical methods”.

The purpose of the Chemist Award BCA award is to encourage originality in young researchers and to develop top talents in the area of organic synthetic chemistry in Japan. The awards are given to researchers under forty years of age who have achieved outstanding results and who have the potential to further develop their research work.
