The Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) has announced the winners of its annual awards for fiscal year 2021. From ICReDD, Professor Jian Ping GONG was awarded The 74th Chemical Society of Japan Award for her research “creating super tough soft materials using the principle of sacrificial bonds”, and Professor Satoshi MAEDA, Director of ICReDD was awarded The 39th CSJ Award for Creative Work for his research on “the creation of a method for predicting chemical reactions based on quantum chemical calculations”.
