ICReDD Principal Investigator, Professor Jian Ping Gong is the winner of the 2023 Polymer Physics Prize sponsored by the American Physical Society. She was awarded for her “outstanding contributions to the understanding of mechanical and fracture properties of hydrogels based on novel network architectures and for discovering the concept of double network gels based on internal overstressed sacrificial bonds” .
The award recognizes Professor Gong for her outstanding accomplishments and the excellence of her contributions in polymer physics research.
