On Friday, August21st, a delegation led by Prof. Frederic Hollande, Head of the department of Clinical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Science of the University of Melbourne visited ICReDD.
After Prof. Yu Harabuchi, Fusion Research Coordinator introduced the center’s research activities, the delegation was given a tour of the ICReDD building.
Prior to the visit, Hokkaido University and the University of Melbourne held a joint research workshop on cancer research from Wednesday, August 19th to Thursday, August 20th. Prof. Shinya Tanaka, ICReDD Fellow and Dean of the faculty of Medicine who organized the workshop, and Assoc. Prof. Masumi Tsuda, ICReDD PI, also accompanied the delegation and gave them a tour of ICReDD’s animal laboratory and other facilities.
